Event Marketing Strategies: Our Work with American Family Insurance

USA Expo has worked with American Family Insurance as their experiential marketing agency for their consumer show platform over the last 7 years. As the client’s eyes and ears on site, USAE is responsible for making sure their multi-event program activation goes smoothly. In addition, We’ve helped the American Family event marketing team reach their strategic objectives through building a program focused on lead generation and data collection – delivering the right audience at the right shows. As a result, AFI is able to be represented in multiple markets, at the same time providing a consistent look and feel with an environment designed for optimal lead generation.

The challenge of event marketing in the insurance industry is that it’s a very competitive landscape. USA Expo worked alongside American Family Insurance to analyze data, KPIs and customer personas to determine exactly which shows to attend. In addition, American Family Insurance was able to develop an exclusive event sponsorship program. This allowed for driving traffic to the booth while also providing local agents the opportunity to connect face to face with the community on a large scale.

Additionally, the sponsorship program incorporated digital efforts both onsite at events and online. To maximize the investment, digital efforts were paired with on-site activation to keep American Family Insurance top of mind for attendees before, during and after the event.
