Objective: create a brand activation which would increase qualified prospects and drive higher awareness at two of the top auto shows in the U.S.

USA Expo created an experience emphasizing American Family's long-standing devotion to their customers...past, present and future. It was a themed experience celebrating the Back to the Future franchise's 35th anniversary. The American Family 20x50 footprint featured a replica of the iconic Back to the Future DeLorean which attendees had the opportunity to examine and sit inside. An interactive kiosk and photographer, dressed as Doc Brown, was present for this feature. Attendees could print their photo or share it via email, cell or social. The footprint also allowed attendees to be mesmerized by a hologram, register for a sweepstakes, obtain a compressed t-shirt and learn more about auto insurance from a local agent.   

To support the experience and encourage sweepstakes registrants, USA Expo created everything from venue escalator wraps to social media campaigns to print collateral. Our agency also negotiated exclusivity in the insurance category.

The campaign exceeded all expectations allowing American Family to drive increased traffic and engagement/sign-ups from their target audience. The line for the experience was constant, and many attendees were overcome with nostalgia commenting that the American Family footprint featured the best car at the show.
