The CLE Oktoberfest
The Cleveland Oktoberfest is a top Labor Day tradition. Held at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, the event features all aspects of german culture including delicious food, bier, live music and entertainment, an arts and craft market, and more. Several competitions take place over the course of the event, including Miss Oktoberfest, the popular weiner dog races and the Masskrugstemmen German Strongman event. The event also features a fun, costume-encouraged 5K run to benefit Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.
Event attendance is 75,000 over the course of 2 weekends. The event is advertised on all of the major Cleveland-market media channels, including TV stations like WKYC and Fox 8’s Kickin’ It With Kenny, and in radio on many of the iHeart Media stations.
The Cleveland Oktoberfest website receives a total of 1,156,848 page views annually, and our newsletter subscribers have grown to over 37,000 with an average open rate of 25%.
