Job Title: Event Activation Specialist
Job Type: Part Time (As Needed)

USA Expo, an industry-leading event and experiential marketing company, is seeking a talented and motivated Event Marketing Specialist to join its growing team. This position is a part time, as-needed position and will be called on to support our clients’ event and trade show marketing programs and initiatives. The primary purpose of this role is to help our activation team with on-site event setup/dismantle, quality control, and overall execution.

Position Responsibilities

  • Construct, assemble, and tear-down trade show booths, displays, and marketing exhibits at various events, shows, festivals and brick n mortar environments
  • Asset inventory management, control, and logistics for each project
  • Execute activation quality control processes
  • Assist in packing, receiving, and shipping exhibits and displays
  • Work directly with and help manage local partners, I&D teams and USA Expo’s Director of Activation
  • Be responsible for all event reporting, photos, & receipt reconciliation
  • Present a professional appearance
  • Wear required apparel

Qualifications

  • Highly organized, flexible and ability to work necessary hours (hours vary by event)
  • Great communication skills and outgoing personality
  • Self-starter and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Outstanding problem-solving ability
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines
  • Great at working with hands and strong carpentry skills
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs. if needed
  • Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 3 hours from location
  • Must have “smart” cell phone and computer access
  • Subject to background and DMV check
